Eat Bulaga host Allan K recently announced that he is closing down his two comedy bars Klownz and Zirkoh permanently.
The two bars faced bankruptcy due to the economic effects of the COVID-19 spread in the country.
Owner Allan K and general manager for Zirkoh and Klownz Lito Alejandria said in a letter that the “tremendous economic financial loss” had forced them to close down the two bars.
Klownz is located along Quezon Avenue while Zirkoh is on Tomas Morato Avenue. They had been operating for 18 years and 16 years respectively.

The two bars were unable to operate since the enhanced community quarantine was imposed on March 15, 2020 in Luzon.
Despite being closed, Allan K still had to pay rent to the building owners for three and a half months.
As the news became public, many netizens remembered that Allan K’s Eat Bulaga co-host Joey De Leon had joked about the closing down of his business in the past and it actually came true.

🙁 https://t.co/KOStjHVm6D
