The Personal Assistant (PA) of Kapamilya star Janella Salvador has asked Raffy Tulfo in Action for help to claim her unpaid salary after she was fired.
In an interview with Raffy Tulfo in Action, the personal assistant complained that the actress reportedly refused to pay her 12-days worth of salary which amounted to least 3,600 pesos.
In the same interview, the assistant also claimed that she was not given any benefits such as SSS, PAG-IBIG, or Philheath while working for the actress. She is also paid 8,000 monthly for her service that includes not only attending to the star while out for tapings but, also helping with household work during her “free days”. She also said the actress gave them 2,000 pesos for a two-week food allowance that she shared with a driver and a household helper.
According to the program, they tried to get Salvador’s side of the story to provide fairness in settling the issue but, the star passed them on to her handler. As the program attempted to text the said handler, the handler only replied that she will get back to them however, the handler didn’t respond afterwards.
A day after the show was aired on YouTube, July 8, Janella Salvador responded to the accusations on her Twitter account.
She posted a picture of a note saying, “Thank you for your sweet messages. I really don’t believe I have to defend myself because trial by media is not the appropriate venue for this. If you believe in your own lies and I really violated something, sue me. If you’re gonna twist the story in your desperate attempt to get money from me.. sorry hun. 3.6k is small and I would gladly give it to someone who deserves it. Not worth my time. We are literally still going through a Pandemic and our press freedom is in danger. Next.”
This was captioned with, “The only time you are gonna hear me about this PA ‘issue’. Have a great day everyone.”

Host Raffy Tulfo then offered to pay the said salary of the personal assistant as a solution. He also said that he will up the amount to 5,000 pesos to help the assistant with her necessities. He said, “Kapag hindi po nagbayad di mapapahiya sila pag ako nag-abono. Masisira sila.”
