Kapamilya actress Ryza Cenon happily announced that she will soon be a mother! But does this also mean we will be hearing wedding bells soon?
The actress addressed the question as to whether she and her partner, Miguel Antonio Cruz, already have wedding plans.
In an interview with Pep. ph, Ryza admitted that she had mixed feelings discovering that she was five months pregnant. She revealed that wedding plans are not a priority as of now.
“Wala pa po, mas priority po namin ang baby. Pero siya, willing siyang pakasalan ako. Pero ako po yung hindi pa ready. For me kasi, it’s too early para mag-decide.”
Despite her boyfriend’s willingness to marry her, the actress decided that she wants to take things slowly.
“Any age naman, puwede kang magpakasal. Pero mas magandang mag-build muna ng foundation sa relationship.”
She added that she was afraid that if they hurried, things go bad between them. Ryza feels that it is best to reinforce and build their relationship first before they settle down together.
“Kasi, kung magde-decide ka nang agad-agad, baka mauwi lang sa hiwalayan. Ayoko naman po ng ganun. Mas maganda po na maging strong muna yung bond, lalo na ngayong may baby pa.”
“Kasi, nag-jump na po kami ng level. Hindi na kami dumaan sa process na magpakasal muna. Kumbaga, may responsibility na, at mas maganda yun dahil mate-test kaming dalawa kung paano matatayo ang foundation.”
Most fans and supporters of Ryza were shocked by her announcement. Ryza’s boyfriend broke his silence on the actress’s pregnancy via a social media post.
On his Instagram page, he shared a picture of his father’s letter and an ultrasound picture of the actress.

Ryza shared that it was on April 9 when she learned that she was pregnant, she also confirmed that her five-week pregnancy is a quarantine baby.
“April 3 po, nag-P.T. [pregnancy test] ako, pero hindi po siya malinaw. Kasi yung isang guhit, malabo. April 9 ko na po nalaman na pregnant po ako.”
“Yes, yes po! Talagang gumawa kami ng paraan para magkaroon ng pass para malaman. Kasi, nakatatakot na baka nga buntis ako, tapos hindi namin maalagaan.”
