Actor Christian Bables couldn’t contain his emotions anymore and decided to speak up against an issue regarding the distribution of his film in the theatres.
He posted on his Facebook account his sentiments about a government official who lectured him about his concerns.
He showed that he was greatly hurt and affected by how the government official belittled him, seeing how he clearly remembers even the small details of their encounter.
“Malalim na nakabaon sa sakin. Sobra… Hanggang ngayon. Tandang tanda ko kung saan niya sinabi, kung paano niya sinabi, at kung anong kulay ng suot niya,” he said.
The unidentified official said that Christian has no right to complain about the unfair distribution of his film as he was not as famous as Vhong Navarro.
Vhong is a Filipino comedian, actor, dancer, singer, judge, and TV host. He is part of the dance group Streetboys in the Philippines.
Christian stated that he tried to let the incident slide thinking that maybe he was in the wrong. But he strongly believed that even though he was not as famous as Vhong Navarro, he has already done enough to prove his worth as an actor and that he belongs to the acting industry.
“Hindi man ako sikat, taas noo kong masasabi na meron din akong mga napatunayan sa larangang kinabibilangan ko, hindi lamang dito kundi pati sa ibang bansa,” he said.

He also added that “Ngayon ko lang napagtanto, sapat na dahilan na siguro yun upang maipaglaban ko ang pagmamahal ko sa sarili kong pelikula at sa ibang mga pelikulang napag kakaitan ng pantay na pagkakataon, at unti unting maibalik ang lakas ng loob at boses na magsalita at ipaglaban kung ano ang tama at nararapat.”
He made it clear that he wanted his voice to be heard and that he doesn’t want to be afraid of speaking up about his love for his craft anymore.
