Gabbi Garcia, a GMA Network artist just wanted to show her support and prayers to those who lost their jobs in connection with the shutdown of ABS-CBN but a troll decided to make fun of her and even wished for the GMA network to suffer the same fate.
It all started when Gabbi reminded people to include the thousands of ABS-CBN employees in their prayers before they sleep. She even encouraged them to pray for those heartless ones and those who lack conscience as they are still humans and are all still in need of prayers especially in this trying times during the COVID-19 pandemic.
She mentioned these solidarity words in her Twitter account on July 11.
Goodnight guys.

Gabbi is a Kapuso artist who has always been active when it comes to social issues. She has been very vocal and shows great concern about the latest updates or happenings in the society through her social media platforms.
That is why one troll caught her attention when the anonymous user displayed his indifference for the loss of jobs of thousands of ABS-CBN employees and even badmouthed Gabbi’s network.
isang walang pusong troll. https://t.co/G6QUUuo0MJ

“Isang walang pusong troll” she said.
Gabbi expressed clear disdain for the troll as she called him “heartless.” The troll stated that the ABS-CBN employees haven’t lost their limbs so they will still have the ability to look for other jobs. He called the artist dumb for not realizing this fact. Gabbi clearly didn’t agree with the troll’s statement as it is already understood that job hunting during this pandemic is hard and could risk the safety of the people.
The troll also mentioned that if the GMA artists would just continue to show support for the rival network, then the GMA network should also be shut down just like ABS-CBN.
The ABS-CBN network faced shutdown of its broadcasting services because the House of Representatives’ Committee on Legislative Franchises denied the network a new 25-year franchise. ABS-CBN’s congressional franchise expired on May 4, right in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic, and the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) issued a cease-and-desist order for the network.
ABS-CBN applied for a franchise renewal with the congress but was denied on July 10. The vote came after 13 hearings held by the House legislative franchise and good government and public accountability committees tackling various issues such as the citizenship of the network’s chairman emeritus Gabby Lopez, alleged labor violations, tax evasion, as well as alleged political bias.
Gabbi Garcia is a Filipina actress and recording artist that made her acting debut as one of the young lead stars in GMA Network’s primetime series My Destiny.
