Kapamilyas DJ Chacha and Ogie Diaz didn’t help but poke fun at Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque’s ‘peaceful’ moment at President Duterte’s State of the Nation Address.
On Twitter, DJ Chacha and Diaz both shared the photo of Roque sleeping while Duterte was delivering his speech.
Chaha in her tweet tried to wake up Roque.
“Hello, are you there? Hello, hello?”

Ogie, on the other hand, twitted DDS trolls saying if it was Sen. Franklin Drilon, bashers will be all-out trolling the senator.
“Pag si Sen. Drilon yan, ookrayin ng mga paid trolls. Hehehe”

Drilon has been a constant target of DDS trolls who poke fun at his pictures where he seemed to be sleeping during senate sessions.
The most recent target by bashers was Drilon’s interview with Pinky Webb on CNN Philippines. In a video that circulated online, Webb was interviewing the senator when he suddenly looked down seemingly falling asleep for a couple of seconds.
A netizen, however, defended Drilon saying the view was obstructed so viewers can’t really see the whole picture of what’s really in front of him.
Drilon slept while being interviewed? Doesn’t look like it. We can’t see what’s in front of him because of the tape obstructing the view so it’s possible that he just checked his phone or something. And if you watch what happened next, he was able to respond. Seriously mga DDS? pic.twitter.com/5mXmHEavZg

Webb has also settled the issue in a tweet saying Drilon didn’t fell asleep but was just looking down at the documents he had on the table.
Here’s what happened. As I was laying the premise for my question, I saw Sen Drilon look down at the documents he had on the table. I did not see him fall asleep. https://t.co/ga9kxyBFBY

Prior to the SONA, Roque has been at the center of several controversies already.
Earlier this month, Roque drew flak on social media after pictures of him together with the dolphins at the Subic Ocean Adventure park circulated online.
Netizens criticized Roque for taking leisure trips while Metro Manila was still in GCQ status which still prohibits non-essential travels.
On Tuesday, June 30, Roque was celebratory as he announced in a Palace press briefing that the country had beaten the UP researchers’ prediction of 40K COVID-19 positive cases at the end of June.
Roque said the country on the last day of June has recorded only 37,514 which is below the UP prediction.
With a raised fist and joyful tone, Roque ecstatically announced that the gov’t beat UP’s number.
“Today is the last day na pala! Ano bang sinasabi ko? Wala na po, panalo na pala tayo! (What was I saying? Disregard that. We already won!) We beat the UP prediction po! We beat it! Congratulations, Philippines!” the presidential spokesperson triumphantly said.
