Outspoken MOR DJ Chacha can’t help but ask until when will other Kapamilya artists remain silent about the current turmoil being experienced by ABS-CBN.
In a tweet, Chacha said she’s been thinking about the Kapamilya stars who up to now at a time when the network has been already shut down and denied a new franchise have managed to keep silent about all that is happening.
“Napapaisip ako sa totoo lang. Hanggang kelan kayo tahimik?”

Earlier, during an episode of Failon Ngayon on DZMM, Chacha got emotional after sharing the fate of ABS-CBN’s FM station MOR 101.9.
Chacha revealed that they were already informed that the station will stop its operations by August 31 due to the non-renewal of the ABS-CBN franchise.
Nandito pa ako, may DZMM pa. Tahanan po ang MOR for 12 years. Sorry,” an emotional DJ Chacha said.
Meanwhile, Chacha is not the only one who shared frustration over the silence of other fellow Kapamilya stars.
In an Instagram story, Angel also threw shade on some ABS-CBN artists who up until now remained silent about the issue.
Kapamilya reporter Kevin Manalo on the other hand directly asked Kapamilya stars known as Duterte supporters about their stand.

In his tweet, Manalo asked Piolo Pascual, Vhong Navarro, Ryan Bang, Jugs Jugueta, Teddy Corpuz, sisters Toni and Alex Gonzaga, and Sarah Geronimo on their take on what’s happening to the network.
“Mr.
However, while there are still Kapamilya artists who remain silent amidst what’s happening with ABS-CBN, it’s notable that Kapuso homegrown artists are sharing their voices to the growing calls to defend ABS-CBN.
Kapuso Jennylyn Mercado has consistently shared strong opinions about what’s happening to the network and the country as a whole.
But I am a Filipino and that alone is enough.
To be neutral or silent in times of injustice is injustice.

Kapamilya singer and also a former homegrown Kapuso Jona Viray is also consistently visible on Twitter sharing her sentiments about the current problems ABS-CBN is facing.

ABS-CBN has been in shutdown since May 5 due to NTC’s cease and desist order. And just recently, their franchise application was denied by 70 congressmen who said that ABS-CBN failed to prove that they did not violate any provisions of their franchise and the constitution.
With the denial of their application, ABS-CBN business units have one by one announced shutting down their operations. And these include ABS-CBN Sports, ABS-CBN Regional Network Group, ABS-CBN Public Affairs Dept., ABS-CBN Film Restoration Project, MOR 101.9, and ABS-CBN University.
