As fierce as she is on her role in Tubig at Langis, Dionne Monsanto didn’t think twice to throw shady comments on bashers who laughed at ABS-CBN’s franchise denial.
On her Facebook account, the Kapamilya actress made a shady post telling the network’s bashers, “Yung tuwang-tuwa ka dahil nagsara ang ABS. Tapos tinanggal ka sa trabaho mo kasi papalitan ka ng taga-ABS. Luh… Exciting.”

This caught different reactions from netizens who can’t help but laugh and agree with the actress’ post.
Dionne didn’t stop there though. In one of her posts, the actress shared Alan Peter Cayetano’s open letter about ABS-CBN.
“Sa haba ng kuda. Let our response be: Ew.”

She even posted a direct message to her bashers to stop messing with her on her own page.
“Good morning sa lahat maliban sa mga umaatake saken dito. Huy page ko ‘to. Dun kayo magkalat sa wall niyong walang nagla-like kasi wala kayong friendsss. HAHABigtiBashersHAHA”

The House Legislative Franchise Committee announced that it had rejected ABS-CBN ‘s bid for a new franchise last July 10, effectively shutting down the country’s largest media network, and strengthening the belief that the authorities are cracking down on freedom of the press.
ABS-CBN did not win the votes of the members of the Legislative Franchise Committee by a majority of 70 to 11.
This will endanger the 11,000 employees in the ABS-CBN group of companies whose programs have enjoyed a wide reach of more than 80 million Filipinos, both here and abroad.
One of Dionne’s posts was even directed to the masses who voted for the wrong officials.
“Politics is personal. Because your smart or stupid voting decisions affect my future and the future of my loved ones.”

Dionne Monsanto started her acting career on television in 2002, but got her big break through the Kapamilya reality show Pinoy Big Brother: Season 2 in 2007.
She became a hit for her antagonist role in the afternoon hit series of ABS-CBN Tubig at Langis in 2016. A year later, the 33-year-old actress was seen in a number of GMA Network shows that sparked rumors that she had moved to the other network.
