Veteran actress Vivian Velez has apparently jumped the gun and revealed Luis Manzano’s plans to marry his long-time girlfriend Jessy Mendiola.
In a Facebook post, Velez said Luis expressed his desire to marry Jessy last February. Velez’s information came from Jessy’s mom Didith who is her second cousin.
Luis and Jessy, however, have yet to confirm Velez’s announcement.
The couple has been in a relationship for four years now. It started in 2016 shortly after Luis and Angel Locsin decided to end their relationship.
Meanwhile, Jessy has been reported to transfer to TV5 following the denial of ABS-CBN’s franchise.
According to an article by LionhearTV, Mendiola is set to host a fitness program on the Kapatid network.
Earlier, Jessy had said that at this point in her life she wants to try something new when she left Star Magic.
“Parang I think at this point po gusto ko nang gumawa ng mga roles na hindi ko pa nagagawa and it’s very exciting to be honest. Gumawa ng role na hindi mo pa nararanasan, hindi mo pa napapakita,” she said.
She also added that she was able to talk to Star Magic’s Mr. M and Mariole Alberto and they understand the situation and wish her luck in her new path.
“Nagpaalam ako nang maayos. And sila Mr. M [Johnny Manahan], Tita Mariole [Alberto], they were very understanding. Sabi nila sa akin, ‘Dadating talaga sa point na ganyan, e.’ Kasi, marami din naman talagang artista na nag-try na mag-explore sa ibang bagay. So, pinayagan nila ako. Walang struggle or whatever,” she said.
Luis, on the other hand, continues to remain Kapamilya. He’s currently seen on The Voice Teens which is now in their Knockout rounds.
Velez meanwhile was one of the first to celebrate ABS-CBN’s shutdown. As a die-hard Duterte supporter, Velez was all out in slamming ABS-CBN and wanting its demise.
