Renowned Filipino film and television actress, host, and producer Coney Reyes has expressed her support in favor of ABS-CBN’s franchise renewal.
On her social media account, Reyes posted, “Praying for the franchise renewal of ABS-CBN.”
She added a similar wave of heart emojis: red, green, and blue depicting the colors of the media giant.
Known as a professed Christian, she also used this as a platform to quote some encouraging verses from the Holy Bible. Reyes cited the famed Psalm 46:10 – “Be still, and know that I am God” among other verses to remind us that above all this chaos, God is still in control of everything.
Coney Reyes became famous for her hosting stints on the noontime variety show Eat Bulaga’.
In recent memory, Reyes has been known for her portrayals in several Kapamilya series including but not limited to, the main antagonist role in Ysabella, and lead anti-heroine roles in 100 Days to Heaven, Huwag Ka Lang Mawawala, Nathaniel, and My Dear Heart.
