[If that’s the case, why did you let this happen in Rizal stadium?]

Ang sakit sa puso 😞 Lalo na para sa mga magulang na may kasamang bata. Paano na?? Ano nang mangyayari sa ating kapwa Pinoy? Pandemya, ulan, at walang kwentang pamamahala. God bless this country 💔 https://t.co/itg3N2edXr

[This is heartbreaking. Especially for those parents who are with their children. How is that? What will happen to our fellowmen? Pandemic, rain, and inefficient governance. God bless this country]

The ‘Hatid Tulong’ program primarily aims to send home LSIs to their respective provinces and cities. However, due to mismanagement and unforeseen events, this program has caused the Rizal sports complex to be jampacked with Filipinos who are wishing to go home.
The Program head Joseph Encabo said that they decided to place these LSIs in the stadium to serve as their temporary shelter because previously they were crowding on the streets.
Unfortunately, as of Monday, around 8 LSIs who are staying in the sports complex tested positive with COVID-19 which is a big threat. Considering the lack of social distancing among these LSIs, the spread of the virus is highly possible.
Meanwhile, President Rodrigo Duterte didn’t comment on this issue yet.
