Kapamilya actress and philanthropist Angel Locsin has slammed Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque over his unbelievable statement regarding ABS-CBN’s COVID-19 relief efforts.
In her Instagram story, Angel blasted Roque for questioning ABS-CBN’s efforts in helping the government address the COVID-19 crisis.
“Pambihira. Imbes na magpasalamat at may sumasalo, nagawa mo pang tuligsain,” she said
“Kusang loob po iyan at hindi obligasyon dahil government naman po talaga dapat ang gagawa [nito] pero humingi po kayo ng tulong di ba kasi hindi kaya?” she added.
Angel also didn’t mince words when she scored Roque who she said did nothing to help and yet has the audacity to question other organization’s contributions.
“Wala akong narinig na naitulong mo pero nagawa mo pang magsalita ng ganito.”
Angel’s reaction came after Roque’s interview on ANC where the palace mouthpiece questioned ABS-CBN’s COVID-19 efforts and compared it to the Ayala’s and Pangilinan’s.
Roque said Ayala and Pangilinan “delivered at the time of crisis” and “did it on their own.” while ABS-CBN used donations from their relief operations.
“The difference is they [Ayalas, MVP] delivered in time of crisis. Hindi ko naman maintindihan kasi why ABS-CBN did not do that,” he said.
“I know you donated P200 million of your own money but the rest you raised from your TV programs through your calls for donation but these 2 companies did it on their own. I do not know why ABS-CBN could not have done more like what the Ayalas and the MVPs did,” he added.
