Ynna Asistio shared her struggles and admitted that she had difficult times during the lockdown.
In the Instagram video of Ynna, she shared with her 153,000 followers how devastating her experience was during the lockdown where it even came to a point her devotion went off track.
“Sobrang gulo ng bahay namin. Nabulabog yung mundo namin, ng buong pamilya. Hindi ko na isi-share yun. Pero dahil dun, isang araw pa lang ng devo ko, na-offtrack na kagad ako ng five days.”
The 28-year-old actress said that she began her devotion to reading the Bible on May 21 with the help of a mentor who guides her spiritual journey.
She shared that the reason she started her testimony was because she thought she could handle all the problems, but she then realize it was only in God that she could found peace.
“Kasi Siya lang pala makakaayos sa akin. Sa Kanya ko lang mahahanap yung peace. Sa Kanya ko lang nakita lahat ng mali ko, na sobrang in denial ako for so long. Naging numb na yung puso ko. And ngayon, I can feel again.”
But she found a way to go back to her devotion. She shared in her compassionate voice that she was at the stage in her life where she made a choice she felt she could never make.
“Lord, change me. Change my ways, change my life. Pagod na ako maging sinungaling. Pagod na ako sa sins ko. Pagod na ako sa secret sins ko. Pagod na ako sa buhay ko. I surrender everything to you. Ikaw na bahala. And please, Lord, I know you can hear me.”
