It’s Showtime host and comedian Vice Ganda reacted to the arrest of 20 Pride March participants by the Philippine National Police (PNP) in Manila.
The LGBTQIA+ Community celebrates “Pride Month” every June and they fight for their equal rights in the society.
In spite of a peaceful and colorful pride march and following social distancing during the parade, 20 participants were arrested for the alleged violation of COVID-19 quarantine protocols.
As a member of the LGBTQIA+ Community, Vice Ganda shared his opinion on Twitter as he thought that Manila City and Mayor Isko Moreno was an advocator of LGBTQIA+. He also called the attention of Mayor Isko for help.
“Anu tooooooooo????? Beke nemeenn!!!”
