Kapamilya actor and host Vhong Navarro was once again dragged into the controversial rape issue involving Kat Alano.
This came after Alano posted a series of tweets about her rape experience using the hashtag #rhymeswithwrong.
In her tweet, Kat said she was raped by a still famous celebrity whose name rhymes with wrong.
She added that she was drugged by the man to achieve his goal of raping her.
When I was raped by #rhymeswithwrong still famous celebrity who had smear campaigns to destroy my career&raped many more,i was wearing a Tshirt and jeans.
He drugged me too,so trying to take my jeans off was difficult for him.Hard to rape an unconscious person in jeans. #HijaAko— Breaking free (@katalano) June 15, 2020
Kat also firmly stood by her statements saying the man is a serial rapist.
And for all those who bashed me and enjoyed my downfall, I still stand by my truth. That man is a serial rapist. And #RapeisRape #HijaAko

This was not the first time that Kat spoke about the man who raped her.
In 2014, Alano also made mention of her rape experience without naming the rapist directly.
It during the time that Deniece Cornejo made headlines for saying she was raped by Vhong Navarro which caused the actor to be mauled by Cedric Lee and company in a condo incident.
At least two other girls came out to accuse Navarro of rape also but unlike them, Kat decided not to file a case and continuously refrained from directly naming the perpetrator out of fear which she addressed in one of her recent tweets.
BTW,for everyone asking why I never filed. His uncle made sure that all cases against him would be dismissed.I found this out first hand. Also they have been waiting to file a case against me to silence me & discredit me in the media, knowing I could never get justice by filing.

In 2016 Kat also talked about the incident and the perpetrator during the TED Talk at the Ateneo De Manila University.
Meanwhile, netizens shared mixed reactions to Kat’s latest statements. Some asked why doesn’t she file case once and for all while others just shared support for Alano.

I declare that justice will be served. I was one of those who believed that he was innocent and it's unsettling. This time, he's not gonna get away. People weren't as blinded by the media as before. We stand with you.

My way of knowing the truth: if there's two or more people who are completely anonymous from each other, both claiming the same thing against one person, then, that's the truth. You were raped.
