Megastar Sharon Cuneta was enraged after a certain Sonny Alcos threatened that he would rape her daughter Frankie Pangilinan.
Recently, her daughter Frankie spoke up about rape culture on social media where she contradicted the perception that revealing clothes invites harassment.
However, Frankie did not only earned praise but also criticism from those who apparently believe in victim-shaming.
One such critic named Sonny Alcos threatened to rape Frankie and even insulted Sharon’s husband Kiko Pangilinan whom he addressed as ‘Matsing’.
“Pasalamat ka iha, kung ang edad ko 12 yrs. Magtago ka na sa tatay mong Senador Kiko Matsing Pangilinan dahil hahanapin kita para gahasain. Tapos sisihin mo tatay mo. Dahil hindi ako makukulong.”
Senator Kiko Pangilinan authored the Juvenile Justice and Welfare Act, an act that places minors in youth care facilities for rehabilitation instead of going to jail. This act became controversial as disagreements arose on the age of legality.
This threat angered not only the Pangilinan family but also netizens as the act was deemed as harassment. Many later stalked the critic and exposed his identity.
Sonny Alcos’ real name is Sonny Co. He is a ‘Die-hard Duterte Supporter’ based on his posts. He is living together with his family in the United Kingdom and supposedly works as a warehouseman for Swiss International Airlines. What’s surprising is he has two daughters and professes Christianity as a member of Reign in Christ Jesus Ministry.

Despite the critic’s deletion of all his social media accounts, Sharon vowed that she would do whatever she can to find and sue him.
She claimed this in a series of posts on her Twitter account.
Accordingly, she is already verifying the leads to Sonny’s employer and is seeking help from a lawyer friend, Tourism Secretary Berna Puyat, and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte.
