- Jaclyn later apologized to Vivian but it was not accepted by the latter
Veteran actress Jaclyn Jose aired her tirades against fellow actresses Pinky Amador and her friend Vivian Velez who defended the former.
Pinky recently made noise online after a video that showed her yelling and cursing at employees of a condotel in Makati went viral online. The actress reportedly got furious after knowing that the hotel is accepting OFWs amid the viral outbreak and allegedly placing the tenants’ health in danger.
Amidst the criticisms thrown at Pinky, Vivian defended that “she was pushed to the wall and then recorded her reaction”. She also added that hotel employees should be sued instead.
This prompted Jaclyn to post a lengthy statement on Facebook saying that Pinky should not be defended for humiliating the hotel staff. She also called Vivian a racist and “little piece of sh*t”.
In disbelief, Vivian suspected that Jaclyn’s account was hacked.
Vivian commented,” Jaclyn Jose or kung sino kaman,you are a fucking hacker…I know the real Jane and she has my number and if sya yan, tinawagan na nya ako. But just the same, those Makati Palace (the condotel) should be sued. And to this Jaclyn Jose hacker or not, fuck you too.”
Later, Jaclyn took to Instagram to apologize to Vivian for lambasting her on her Facebook wall admitting her mistake.
Jaclyn wrote, “To Ms.Vivian Velez I am sorry for what I have said in your wall. I know what kind of a person you are, didn’t mean to lambast you. mali ako. you are a friend, a family friend for that matter. again I apologize.”

Jaclyn gained the sympathy of her followers but Vivian rejected her apology. In a lengthy Facebook post, Vivian explained her reason for this as well as her decision to side with Pinky.
“A close friend and almost a family put me down in public, hurled insults and expect me to just say nothing. With toxic friend like this, who needs enemies? This is my reaction to her actions,” Vivian said in a statement.
She also added that this could be the “oldest and lamest excuse one can give and expect considerations from the people they offend”.

Jaclyn is considered as one of the best and most accomplished actresses in the Philippines. She is also known as the mother of another famous actress, Andi Eigenmann.
Aside from being an actress, Vivian is also known as one of the radio hosts of 8TriMedia ‘s weekly program called ‘DOUBLE V’.
Pinky, an actress, singer, commercial model, and TV host in the Philippines is the niece of the late Zenaida Amador, the founder of Repertory Philippines.
