Seasoned actress Aiko Melendez was irked by the accusation that her 21-year-old son Andre Yllana had a video scandal.
A certain Twitter user named Jakolinks, now changed to SalamatDocLito on Monday (June 22) morning, through a tweet, promised to release Andre’s alleged video scandal when his account reaches 25,000 followers.
In the caption, he wrote, “Not for Sale.
More RT more followers.
“Proof at the comment section,” he added alongside two pictures of someone who was allegedly Aiko’s son.

On the same day, after being informed about the post through a text message sent by her sister abroad, the Prima Donna star went live on Facebook to address the allegations.
Pagdating sa anak ko, kantiin n’yo na po ako, you can lambast me all you want but when it comes to my children, Ako ang makakalaban ninyo,” the actress said.
Minsan nabibigyan ako ng sakit ng ulo but never a major problem, never na pagbintangan na may sex scandal siya,” the 44-year-old actress-politician further stated.
Moreover, she directly called out the Twitter user whose account has now been deactivated and said, “Kaya grabe ang inis ko sa taong ito (@jakolinks) na sinisira ang pangalan ng anak ko na iningat-ingatan ko ng maraming taon kasi mag-isa ko ‘yang itinayo halos iginapang ko ‘yan ng dugo, luha at pawis para mapalaki ko ‘yan ng maayos tapos isang tao lang ang yuyurak na sasabihing may sex scandal ang anak ko!”
Aiko also admonished the Twitter user who intentionally spread malicious news about others just to gain popularity online.
Sana hindi ito mangyari sa’yo…If you want to gain followers on Twitter, do not use my son’s name. Spreading malicious news about my son, that he has a sex scandal, shame on you. Where is the proof? Before you post anything, have some proof first.”
Unleashing the mother in her, Aiko remarked, “Andrei is only 21! He is just starting being legal but you do not have the right to destroy and ruined his reputation just because trip-trip n’yo.
As her Facebook live went on, the actress dared the Twitter user to expose the video to know whether his claim is true or not. If the user fails to do so, Aiko emphatically said that she will take legal action against him.

Aiko was later joined by her son, Andre to further deny the allegations.
Here, he talked in detail about what really happened.
“And when you look at it closely, 2017 pa po huling post no’n. Mapapansin naman po siguro na hindi na ako nagpo-post doon kasi wala na po akong access to that account.
“So, I don’t know what picture are they using probably getting it from someone na kakulay ko rin. If you look at the picture as well, hindi mukhang bahay namin din at hindi akin kasi ‘yung name ko na nilagay sa taas ng video ay hindi moving so halatang edited.
“I don’t know what I’ve done to you, I don’t know who you are, I don’t know why you’re hiding in another name, If I’ve done something that I am not aware of, I’m sorry.
“But me, growing up hindi naman po sa pagbubuhat ng bangko or anything, si mommy po kasi, pinalaki akong mabuti saka nag-aral po ako sa Catholic school simula prep hanggang grumadweyt po ako ng high school. I don’t even see myself doing that, so nakakatawa sa viewers ni mom, nakakatawa sobra.
Mother and son further reminded their viewers to be responsible in using social media and verify whatever they see online first before reacting or sharing. “Lahat ng ginagawa n’yo sa social media, please think before you post. Please think before you share. I hope everyone could think before they click. Just double-check. There’s nothing wrong with double checking,” Andre advised everyone.
Aiko ended the live session agreeing to her son’s statement and added, “If I may add, please don’t make someone else’s life a circus for you to be entertained. That’s not right, ‘di ba? Kung wala kayong magawa sa bahay, huwag n’yong gawing fiesta ang buhay ng ibang tao for your satisfaction or gratification, or you just want to be talked about on social media. Don’t use anyone without basis because your integrity will be questioned here.”
