Kapamilya artist Coco Martin became a hot topic after the Laban Kapamilya live online protest where he expressed how upset he was over the shutdown of his home network.
He furiously slammed government officials who were largely seen as the culprits behind the shutdown.
Bashers and trolls soon launched an attack on the action star. Revelations of alleged maltreatment of the small actors on FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano were revealed. In a video, a former extra on the show made a litany of Martin’s alleged maltreatment of the bit players.
He also brought up the food situation on the set. He said they had been given food for the whole day packed in styrofoam containers as if they were prisoners,
“Pagdating sa pagkain. Maayos ba yung pagkain na nakastyro foam? Almusal, tanghalian, hapunan.
Coco Martin had also slammed Solicitor General Jose Calida for pressuring the NTC not to grant ABS-CBN a provisional authority to operate.
Coco said angrily.
Calida reacted to the rant of the actor and warned Martin saying if he weren’t the Solicitor General then he would have let the actor eat his own words.
“If I had not been the Solicitor General, I would have called his bluff and make him eat his words.”
But now, it seems that the actor has quieted down on different social media platforms. Martin’s verified Instagram account with over 3.5 million followers is now deactivated.
While there is no comment from Coco Martin’s camp yet, Coco might have been advised to keep quiet to avoid a lawsuit.
