Balladeer Anton Antenorcruz captures the torment in coping with an unfulfilled commitment in his debut single “Dating Angkin,” released by Star Music and produced by TNT Records.
“This is my first ever single [that] I am proudly sharing with everyone! #DatingAngkin… It’s been a journey and thank you all for the support and love I have felt and been given!,” the “Tawag ng Tanghalan” finalist shared on Facebook.
The sentimental track examines the aftermath of being left behind by a lover who promised to always stay no matter what. It was composed by his fellow TNT finalist Froilan Canlas.
Antenorcruz has already been working as a flight attendant years before joining the second season of “It’s Showtime’s” flagship singing competition in 2017. He has since been dubbed as the “Ballad Prince” for his unique and captivating take on ballad songs.
Meanwhile, compliments poured in for Antenorcruz and his latest accomplishment, with listeners praising his heart-rending execution of the song.
