It seems like real life Kapuso couple Andrea Torres and Derek Ramsay are already giving us the hints that they’re ready to take their relationship to the next level.
Derek and Andrea’s whirlwind romance started from being on-screen partners in the GMA Network primetime series The Better Woman, which aired from July 1 and concluded on September 27, 2019.
It has not been a year since they started dating and officially announced their relationship in September, but the actor has been dropping hints that Andrea is the one he’ll marry.
In an interview with PEP.ph last Thursday, June 4, the 30-year-old female star talked about her relationship with the 43-year-old actor and the reason she feels that he’s the one she will marry.
She said, “It’s really not about the length but the quality of the relationship that matters.”
Andrea admitted that she was very happy when her boyfriend said that she’s the woman he definitely would want to marry.
She said, “Siyempre masayang-masaya ako and flattered na marinig yun from him. Kasi, yun din ang pinagdarasal ko talaga. All in ako sa relationship, that’s why I never get into one half-hearted. So, we’re in the same direction.”
When asked about the time she would be ready to marry the Kapuso hottie, she remarked, “I’m ready.”
The Bubble Gang mainstay also shared that her boyfriend is different from the guys he dated in the past as everything has been so easy for them. “The two of us and our families automatically became one big family.”
She also pointed out the level of security he has been giving her that “I can leave him, let him be, and be completely focused on what I’m doing. I have so much trust in him.”
She also revealed that they didn’t set any rules or restrictions when it comes to working or being paired with other stars. Luckily enough, the two of them will be working together again in an upcoming action series of GMA-7 with the working title, Sanggang Dikit. As of now, details and the other cast members of the series have yet to be revealed.
“Kung ano yung ma-assign sa amin, doon kami. We’re very grateful though sa next soap namin, kami pa rin ang magkasama,” the sexy star mused.

Despite the 13-year gap, Andrea happily shared that it never became an issue between them. “I think, what makes it work is we have the same values and we complement each other in areas where we’re different.”
Last February, rumors that the Kapuso couple were already engaged spread like wildfire online because of an Instagram photo that Derek shared. The photo was taken in Japan during their much-needed showbiz break.
In one of the Kapuso heartthrob’s posts, he appeared to be giving his girlfriend a back hug with big smiles on their faces as they posed for the camera.
The British-Filipino actor’s caption read: “Yata!!!!!!!”
The comment section was bombarded with speculations tat the two already decided to take their relationship to the next level.
One fan noted that “yata” means “I do” or “we did it” in Japanese which made then fans even more excited.

Until now, the couple have not confirmed nor denied the rumors.
Despite being apart because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the actress revealed that it helped their relationship to become better and stronger.
“Maraming realizations na nabigay sa ating lahat and, kami naman, very open kami sa isa’t isa. So, parang sabay kaming nag-grow. Mas nagkaroon din ng weight ang bawat bagay.”
“We might be apart physically, but we still make sure to do most of our activities together through video call. We update each other and check up on each other several times a day,” she added.
After being separated by the enhanced community quarantine, the actor visited his girlfriend and her family at their home.
