Kapamilya stars Amy Perez and Lorna Tolentino shared their own experiences on what it’s like to resume taping amid COVID-19 pandemic.
One of the shows that resumed after the lockdown is ABS-CBN’s FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano. As one of the cast members, Lorna Tolentino is just one of the actors that must agree with the lock-in taping setup.
Tolentino, who plays First Lady Lily Ann Cortez-Hidalgo, confirmed earlier in an interview with ABS-CBN’s Mario Dumaua that they will continue the production of a locked-in tape at a resort in Batangas.
“Para kaming nasa ‘Pinoy Big Brother,’ nakakulong sa bahay ni Cardo Dalisay. So dapat all the way sa mga siguradong negative (of COVID-19), ‘di na pwede lumabas,”
In addition to the minimum safety requirements, the almost five-year-old show must also ensure that no more than 50 workers, including the cast, will be working during the shooting.
“Parang kami ang sampol o halimbawa sa balik-taping. Dapat walang mali sa procedures namin. Ang laki ng sakripisyo at sugal namin dito,”
However, Lolit Solis, the talent manager of the prominent actress revealed the latter was shocked when they were housed in a motel.
Based on the article from Pilipino Star Ngayon, Lorna complained to her manager regarding their venue were they had to stay, because of this, Lorna wasn’t able to sleep well during their first night in the said motel.
