In the June 5, 2020 episode of Tutok to Win, host Willie Revillame realized that he dialed the wrong number and called the wrong ‘Tutok To Win!’ winner.
“Alam mo sa totoo lang nagkamali ako ng isang number ang tinatawagan ko 0936662, ang number eh 0932663,” Willie laughingly said.
Willie Revillame then asked if the caller is a suscriber of Tutok to Win,
“Subscriber ka ba namin?”
The woman at the other end of the line proudly said that she’s a fan of the show.
“Opo matagal na po.”
“Aksidente lang talaga, hinde walang biro. Anong pangalan mo? Taga saan? Anong ginagawa mo?”
“Nanood po sa inyo.”
Willie rewarded the viewer with the 10,000 cash prize
“Napaka swerte mo, meron kang 10,000!”
This wasn’t the first time the variety show had funny incidents. A contestant once cursed Willie by accident.
In a segment sponsored by the e-commerce site Shopee, Revillame had to call a female contestant and ask her to say the magic words, “Thank you, Shopee.”
Instead of following Revillame’s instruction, however, the contestant answered back, “Gago!”
Willie laughed loudly and told the woman, “Wag niyo kong murahin si Willie Revillame ‘to.”
