Wowowin TV host, Willie Revillame proudly announced that he’s more inspired to come up with better content, especially now that his show received high ratings even in the midst of general community quarantine in Metro Manila.
Furthermore, he also teased the staff of Wowowin that they got better TV ratings because they have no other competitors, and viewers have no choice but to watch them since the National Telecommunications Commission issued a cease and desist order against ABS-CBN network.
Willie stated: “Napaka-taas ng ratings ng show natin! Alam niyo kung bakit? Tayo lang ang may palabas. Ang ibig sabihin niyan, wala silang mapanood kaya pinagtitiyagaan tayo. Nagugulat ako sa ratings natin, ganyan katas ‘yan, kung wala pala tayong kalaban, ganun kataas ratings natin?”
To commemorate the Wowowin’s 5th anniversary, Willie promised to give out huge surprises for the viewers, and it will be a one-week celebration for the show.
Willie also added a new segment titled ‘Tutok to Win’ where he would call a random lucky viewer to win cash prizes ranging from P10,000.00 to Php50,000.00 if their answer is right.
Parang talk show na ‘to.
Aside from exerting extra effort for Wowowin’s continued operations, the veteran TV host also donated one million pesos worth of relief goods to GMA Kapuso Foundation to be given to less fortunate families.
