Kapamilya host and comedian Vice Ganda clapped back at House Deputy Speaker and SAGIP Partylist Rep. Rodante Marcoleta after the latter used the former’s joke for Pastor Apollo Quiboloy during a House hearing for ABS-CBN’s franchise renewal on Tuesday, May 26.
Marcoleta was one of the critics of ABS-CBN Network who insisted that the media giant should not be granted a new franchise for its alleged tax and labor violations. Marcoleta played the video of the controversial challenge of Vice to Quiboloy to prove his point.
On Twitter, the 44-year-old host, without mentioning any name, took a swipe at the politician by posting, “Hahahahaha!!!! Take the joke seriously. Take the congressman as a joke. Chugug!!!”
Aside from this, the SAGIP Partylist Representative also used Kim Chiu’s viral “classroom” analogy and “Bawal Lumabas” video in his opening statement.
Fans of the prominent comedian expressed their support for him in the comments.

It can be recalled that Vice jokingly challenged Quiboloy on national TV through a live episode of It’s Showtime on November 5, 2019, to stop FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano as the pastor had claimed he had stopped the earthquake in Mindanao.
“Naku, kabahan si Cardo. Ang pinakakalaban ni Cardo, ang feeling ko, si Quiboloy. Yung nagpahinto ng lindol. Si Quiboloy lang ang magpapahinto ng Ang Probinsyano, abangan niyo ‘yan.
“So ano, Quiboloy, hinahamon kita, ipahinto mo nga ang Probinsyano. Napahinto mo pala ang lindol, e. Napakayabang niyo pala!”
“Sabi niya daw, stop! Sige nga, punta ka sa gitna ng EDSA, stop mo yung traffic dun! Iba ka Quiboloy!” Vice said.
