Megastar Sharon Cuneta slammed House Deputy Speaker Rodante Marcoleta for insisting on bringing up issues that were considered to be redundant during the ABS-CBN franchise Congressional Hearing.
Rep. Marcoleta has been the center of attention since last Tuesday when he pointed out one-by-one the alleged violations of the Kapamilya network.
In her tweet, Sharon said: “’Repeat a lie often enough and it becomes the truth,’ is a law of propaganda often attributed to the Nazi – ito ang sinusunod na prinsipyo ni Rep. Marcoleta at marami silang ganyan! Kaya paulit-ulit natin itong sagutin ng katotohanan!”

Sharon also stressed that Rep. Marcoleta wasted the time and effort of everyone present at the Congressional hearing especially since all the allegations he brought up against the media giant were already answered before.
ating gobyerno, BIR, DOJ, NTC, DOLE, SEC.

On Marcoleta’s redundant allegations, Sharon replied: “ating gobyerno, BIR, DOJ, NTC, DOLE, SEC. In his speech, Rep. Marcoleta said ABS-CBN violated laws that is why it does not deserve a fresh 25-year franchise. However, it can be recalled in February’s Senate hearing that the concerned government agencies themselves cleared ABS-CBN of any violation. ABS-CBN president and CEO Carlo Katigbak himself reiterated that the network has done nothing wrong in his opening statement, which he delivered before Marcoleta took to the floor.

Twitter users on Tuesday (May 26) refuted the issues raised by Marcoleta, saying that the solon was merely repeating allegations against ABS-CBN that were already answered and cleared in February, making Marcoleta a top Twitter trend on the day of the joint hearing.
