Due to the request of her fans and followers, “Queen of All Media” Kris Aquino promised that she will return to doing regular vlogs with the help of Cornerstone and give cash gifts through her online live shows.
In her most recent YouTube vlog with her youngest son, Bimby, which was posted on Wednesday, April 29, Aquino expressed her gratitude to her solid Kris TV fans who until now continually support her.
She said: “It feels wonderful to have been missed. For my online family, we’re going back to what made you enjoy watching me, whether on digital or when I was still on network TV–cooking easy but yummy recipes and showcasing the beauty of the Philippines.
“Please give Cornerstone and me the chance to fix logistics because kung miss n’yo ‘ko, I felt incomplete not being able to connect with all of you,” she added.
Aside from this, the 49-year-old actress vowed that she will give cash gifts amid the COVID-19 crisis to help the people affected by the pandemic disease through her online live show.
“Alam ko rin through the years, that you appreciate gestures of sharing blessings and my heart breaks for all the daily wage earners kaya when I start doing my live online show, gagawan ko ng paraan na makapagbigay ng cash gifts habang patuloy ang laban natin,” Aquino explained.
It was in 2011 when Aquino began hosting the morning lifestyle magazine Kris TV broadcasted by ABS-CBN. However, in 2016, the talk show host decided to leave ABS-CBN Network to focus on her health and family, thus, ending the talk show that was loved by many.
A few days ago, Kris TV fans launched a campaign to bring back Kris TV on-screen in place of “Magandang Buhay” currently hosted by the ‘momshie trio’- Karla Estrada, Jolina Magdangal, and Melai Cantiveros.
In spite of the efforts of Magandang Buhay to provide quality and entertaining content, many viewers find the show ‘boring’, not to mention the awkward moments that the three hosts often get in, compared to Aquino’s effortless hosting.

Aside from this, a netizen pointed out that while the Magandang Buhay hosts are reliant on their cue cards when asking questions, the Kris TV host was able to ask follow-up and on-point questions and provide more substantial content to viewers.

Furthermore, some netizens revealed that Cantiveros is the only reason why they still watch the morning show, while Estrada is labeled as ‘bully’ and should be evicted from the show.

In the meantime, Aquino is staying with her two sons at a friend’s beach resort in Puerto Galera while waiting for the lockdown to be lifted.
