It’s been four years since the Queen of All Media Kris Aquino left ABS-CBN but until now, she’s been haunted by netizens regarding the network’s franchise renewal application when her brother Noynoy Aquino was still the President.
Kris opted to remain silent regarding the issue, as she was not a member of the Congress, NTC, and even DOTC.
Kris also hopes that netizens would allow her to continue enjoying a peaceful life and spare herself from being misinterpreted by other netizens with hidden agendas on the Aquino family.
She said: “I wasn’t a member of the NTC, an elected member of Congress, a part of what was then DOTC. I am hopeful you will allow someone who has chosen to keep her silence knowing that anything she says can be misinterpreted to suit the negativity agenda of those who wish to only create more negativity, the peace she has fought hard to deserve.”
And if the netizen was not satisfied with her response, Kris strongly suggested that it would be best to send a message directly to Noynoy Aquino because she was never been a spokesperson of her brother.
She continued: “If my answer didn’t satisfy you, I suggest i-tweet mo or post mo sa FB yung tanong mo sa KAPATID ko, himself. After all, hindi niya ako spokesperson.”
Noynoy’s statement
Former President Noynoy Aquino blamed the Duterte administration for creating unnecessary problems with the giant network.
Noynoy Aquino stated: “This administration has put itself into a corner unnecessarily. If there is significant and sustained support for the reopening of (ABS-CBN), it will happen. I won’t comment presently lest I help them inadvertently in solving their unnecessary problem.”
Furthermore, Foreign Affairs Secretary Teddy Boy Locsin alleged Noynoy also didn’t want to renew the franchise of ABS-CBN way back in 2015.
Locsin said: “Oddly Pnoy too indicated he would not renew ABSCBN’s franchise; only Joma Sison wants to renew it but will he do it when he is president?”
Oddly PNoy too indicated he would not renew ABSCBN’s franchise; only Joma Sison wants to renew it but will he do it when he is president? Ok. Back to my spiritual retreat.
