In her Instagram post, Kristine Hermosa-Sotto, wife to Oyo-Boy Sotto, posted inspiring quotes to jumpstart the day.
“God’s plans will always be greater than all your disappointments” and the latter, “May we ever choose the wider right instead of the easier wrong.”

Unfortunately, online trolls associated Kristine’s post to the controversial ABS-CBN forced shutdown, a network she grew up with.
“Tama pO, @ms khsotto. NO ONE IS ABOVE THE LAW!!
“I agree with you. Paawa effect. Naaawa sa mga nawalan ng trabaho pero they can’t share their millions of pesos to them. Mga pulitikong nawalan ng magagatasan. Mga tangang fans na gustong magrally to evict the president. Wake up people!!! Mulat ng mga tao because of social media. Sa mga abogadong pulitiko nakakahiya kayo. Law is law.
“After how many years, napakinabangan ang ABS-CBN, ganito i-popost niya. Nakakahiya naman”, rants a certain troll. @caracoletaaa
Kristine’s sister, actress Kathleen Hermosa, decided to defend her by responding to the accusations. Kathleen said, those trolls might have misunderstood Kristine’s Instagram post and that judging the situation of the Kapamilya network without knowing all of the facts is unwise.
“Wag pong ganyan na kung makahusga kayo parang you were there at nakita nyo buong pangyayari. Ako din wala duon. Kaya wala akong karapatan manghusga. I just and always remind myself, there are so many sides of the story. Maiging makinig, magresearch at suriin.”
Expert kami dyan.”
“Sa panahong ito, may laban tayo against COVID. To keep ourselves safe. Concentrate tayo duon.
I’m sure it is well taken cared of.”
“Maraming Salamat @jeremichan for tagging me. Please, guys, let’s spread the love?😘 Tara na, wag na ganyan please😃 And peace.”
Kathleen is still an ABS-CBN talent but she has remained silent about the ABS-CBN shutdown issue and its foregoing franchise renewal.
According to Kathleen, she has not been visible on TV for the past few years because she was fighting a potentially life-threatening condition. This was after Kristine’s “second life” IG post went viral and people speculated her sister has cancer.
