Singer Jonalyn Viray, nicknamed Jona, shared what her usual daily routine was at home on ABS-CBN’s ‘Umagang Kay Ganda’ this Monday, May 4th.
She also revealed how she took care of the dogs she rescued. Dogs go out once in a while for a walk while on lockdown as they have limited space in the garage at home.
“Mayroon din po kaming routine na ginagawa para sa mga animal rescues po namin like sa morning, lunch, hapon at gabi, pinapalabas po namin sila to go for a walk,” Jona said.

Jona is known to be an animal rights advocate. She called on people to help stray cats and dogs.

Jona also wishes to build a shelter for abandoned cats and dogs in the future. “Naghahanap po talaga ako ng isang lupa para don ko na po malagay lahat ng rescues so sana makuha ko na po ‘yun,” she stated.

Also, Jona hoped that the barangay officials would take animal negligence and maltreatment seriously and be well aware of the amended Animal Welfare Act (RA No. 10631/8485).
