Actress Nadine Lustre shared that during Enhanced Community Quarantine, she learned to be a strong and independent woman, given the free time that she has.
In a live online interview on radio station Monster RX93, Nadine shared her lockdown story on being tough and brave as she lives all by herself.
Sharing her fear of being sad and alone, the actress boldly shared how she surpassed it.
“I’ve always been scared of being sad. I’ve always been scared of being alone, of being angry, of being anxious but I felt all of that because of the lockdown.”
Because of the lockdown, Lustre handled her self well despite being alone, and emerged to be a stronger person, “And I learned to handle all of it. Now, I can really say that I’m a stronger person now. Harder challenges are going to come but I’m not scared.”
Recently, Nadine also revealed that she greatly enjoys being productive and independent at her own home.
On her Instagram account, Nadine posted a photo of herself with the caption, “Had a lot of time to reflect, write, cook, play computer games, plan ahead and slow down… also had a lot of time clearing out my space which is a huge achievement for me.”

Ending her lockdown story, she hopes that it will serve as an inspiration to others and hopes that everyone will realize and experience what she had, “That’s the message for everyone as well. I want that to be my message for everyone as well. Just hang on. Stop doubting yourself… Just enjoy life, live life, feel everything. You can be sad right now, you can be anxious, you can be afraid, you can be like angry at something.
“But that’s what I realized din kasi because of the lockdown… everything I’ve been feeling is valid and let yourself feel it kasi that is what life is all about.”
Nadine also didn’t forget to thank her fans for the unending support that they’re giving her, “You guys are crazy, I love you all. I hope everyone is okay. I’ve said this so many times like I super appreciate them. They’re like out of this world. They are like, they are all crazy. Like they just know and I love them so much kasi they’ve always been there like 24/7.”
