Daniel Padilla warned his friends and family that he will never forget the people who rejoiced when ABS-CBN was ordered to shut down immediately last Tuesday, May 5, 2020 by the National Telecommunications Commission.
Daniel posted on his personal Facebook account: “Sa mga kaibigan, kamag anak at kakilala ko dito na ginagawang katatawanan ang nangyayari ngayon sa ABSCBN wag kayong mag alala dahil HINDI AKO NAKAKA LIMOT.”
His mom Karla Estrada also shared DJ’s post on her Instagram account where she said God sees everything:
“Oo ako rin anak! Bilog ang mundo at lahat ay lumilipas. Nakikita ni LORD lahat yan.”

Meanwhile, the Magandang Buhay host lashed out at the NTC for its untimely decision to issue cease and desist order against ABS-CBN.
Karla vented: “Ang manahimik ay lalong maabuso. Kaya hindi kami matitikom sa kabalbalan na ginawa ninyo. Ngayon pa talaga??? Ngayon pa talaga??? Sigurado kayo ngayon nyo ginawa ito??? Wow! Wala kayog kasi ng Lipitor!”
President Rodrigo Duterte has constantly spoken up against ABS-CBN whom he said failed to air his ads during the Presidential Election in 2016. ABS-CBN President Carlo Katigbak already apologized for this last February during a Senate hearing.
Katigbak humbly apologized: “We are sorry if we offended the President. That was not the intention of the network.”
Even if the President has accepted the apology and assured that his grudge will not affect the network’s franchise, NTC still issued a cease and desist order.
