TV and radio host and former OWWA official Arnell Ignacio has filed a case against singer Mystica (Ruby Rose Villanueva in real life).
Arnell went to the Imus Prosecutor’s Office to file the case since Mystica is a resident of Gen. Trias, Cavite. He filed three charges which included cyberlibel, sedition, and violation of the Bayanihan To Heal As One Act.
According to Arnell, no one should be allowed to curse the President and go scot-free after.
“Kapag seryoso ang issue e file na ako ng case. Hindi talakan lang sa FB. Hindi mo puede mura-murahin si presidente nang ganun-ganun lang at aatungal ka pagkatapos.”
“Mas malala, nagyaya ka pa na pabagsakin ang gobyerno imbis na tumulong ka na lang. Yung pagmumura mo naman e parang PERSONAL ang kasalanan sa iyo eh. Kahit man lang sana sa edad nung tao e binigay mo na kahit katiting na paggalang,” he added

Last April, Mystica went viral over her video lambasting Duterte and his administration for its failure in addressing the COVID-19 crisis in the country.
Two days later, Mystica tearfully apologized for criticizing the president, saying she only voiced her frustrations and disappointment with the government.
