Arnell Ignacio slammed Coco Martin for losing his temper during the Laban Kapamilya Facebook live.
On the Ako Pinoy YouTube channel, Arnell was asked to give his views about Coco’s controversial statements. He said that if he were one of Coco’s friends, he would have briefed the actor to what is the real situation is so he would avoid losing his temper then ranting online.
“Napapakamot na lang ako ng ulo, para bang kung ako ang kaibigan ni Coco sabi ko ‘Halika ka nga rito sandali muna, ibibrief kita. Para hindi ka nagwawala diyan ganitong ang nangyari, baka mamaya kasi tumalak ka ng tumalak babawiin mo lahat ng sinabi mo.’ Eh! paano mo babawiin, tumalak ka na ng bonggang bongga di ba?” he said.
Arnell also said that they should maintain their role as an artist and to be aware of their actions.
“Ang artista kasi yung kanyang role napakahalaga na imaintain mo yan eh. Eh tapos ngayon ito ka makitkita ka na nagwawala ng ganyan tapos ang lalayo na ng mga sinasabi mo sa talagang dapat pag-usapan, so nabasag ang illusion,” he added.
On May 5, ABS-CBN network received a Cease and Desist Order by the National Telecommunication Commission (NTC) to go off-air due to the expiration of its franchise. Many were dismayed by the decision which led to some Kapamilya stars expressing their emotions on social media.
As of now, House Speaker Alan Peter Cayetano said that by the first week of June, ABS-CBN Corp may be back on the air by granting the network a temporary broadcast franchise until October.
Arnell also returned to ABS-CBN after resigning as the Executive Director at the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) to host the radio program titled “Labor of Love” which focuses on public service mostly for Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW).
