Former singer and now the Vice President of PAGCOR’s entertainment Jimmy Bondoc expressed his excitement last year towards the closure of the biggest television network, ABS-CBN, where 11,000 employees are working to earn and support their families.
According to Bondoc, ABS-CBN only obtained its success based on company politics and sexual favors of executives to celebrities.
Jimmy published: “ART and CULTURE have been ruined by this network. Our moral fiber as a nation too. Wide-eyed kids seek dreams and all in line, not knowing the hell that their lives will be plunged into. Their news is for sale, the highest bidder gets the slant.
I AM EAGERLY AWAITING YOUR DEMISE. I know how this sounds. And I know the nasty comments which are bound to come. I don’t care. If you think COMELEC is bad, wait until you see the real machinery that is known as “the biggest network.”

Now that the National Telecommunications Commission has issued a cease and desist order against ABS-CBN to immediately stop broadcast on both television and radio, netizens got back to Jimmy Bondoc.

Shutting down the largest network in the Philippines might have been planned a few months back.
I remember that instance when Jimmy Bondoc, who now works for the govt stated something like, abs-cbn will be put to shutdown, I even recall Angel Locsin commenting on Mr. Bondoc's statement, I'm just having thoughts is this the plan, months ago ? to shutdown abscbn?

Jimmy’s reaction after ABS-CBN shutdown
After ABS-CBN shut down, Jimmy wrote a long reaction post claiming that he was sad.
Jimmy said: “Ipinagdadasal ko pa rin ang mga apektado sa mga kasalukuyang kahanapan. At sa totoo lang, palagay ko ay di magtatagal, magbu-bukas ulit ang palasyo ng higante.Ang panalangin ko lang talaga ay pagbabago. Sa sarili ko, at sa higante. Lahat tayo, hindi perpekto at may kasalanan.
Lahat ng sugat ay naghihilom pero kailangan gamutin natin ang sarili. Bago natin sisihin ang sumugat sa atin, tingan din natin ang ating mga nasugatan lalo na kung malawakan.”

Jimmy claimed that he was not happy and the only thing he would like to do is to pray and ask for forgiveness and hope he could forget all the damages that the giant network had done to him.
He contined: “Maniwala man kayo o hindi, hindi ako masaya. Ang gusto ko lang gawin ngayon ay magdasal at humingi ng tawad para sa mga sarili kong pagkukulang. At sana, maturuan ko ang sarili ko na magpatawad. Yung tunay na pagpapatawad. At kumalimot.”
