Kapamilya actress Angelica Panganiban has joined the many Kapamilya talents who shared their sentiments over the network’s closure.
In a tweet on Wednesday, May 6, Angelica shared a rather cryptic message instead of a straightforward rebuke on NTC’s decision.
“Lumuhod naman. Bakit niyo pinatay?… PILIPINO KA BA TALAGA??!!!!” Angelica tweeted.

Angelica’s tweet could pertain to ABS-CBN executives’ humility to apologize to the President during the Senate hearing.
But instead of allowing the network to continue its operations, the NTC which was under the Office of the President decided to issue cease and desist order against the network on Tuesday, May 5, causing it to close down their operations.
This is not the first time that Angelica shared criticism of the government.
In April, Angelica didn’t mince words when she slammed the government after the NBI summoned Mayor Vico Sotto over alleged violations of the community quarantine protocols.
Wala silang mapag initan. Si mayor vico talaga? Kung sino pa may natutulong at maayos na sistema, siya pa kakasuhan? HANEP! Eh nasan na yung nagkalat ng virus sa makati med? So far kasi yun palang nagagawa niya. Ikalat ang virus. Mapapamura ka na lang pala talaga.

On the same day, Angelica also admitted that she was sad over her decision in 2016 to support Duterte and was sorry for it.
“Yes. Nakakalungkot. Pero oo. Patawarin niyo ko.”

She also added that she’s sorry if it took her so long to realize that she made the wrong decision of supporting Duterte in the 2016 elections.

ABS-CBN meanwhile immediately complied with the cease and desist order of the NTC. The network has been shut down since Tuesday evening after TV Patrol’s broadcast.
