- Locsin could not give any details but said that they will have their wedding.
- Due to the lockdown, they cannot proceed with their wedding preparations.
Kapamilya star Angel Locsin finally spoke up about her wedding plans with Niel Arce.
Regal Films had a free screening of their movies on Facebook. The first movie to be shown was Happy Together with Kris Aquino and Eric Quizon followed by You To Me are Everything with Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera who granted a live chat to their fans.
The last movie to be shown was I Will Always Love You with Richard Gutierrez and Angel Locsin. The two stars also had a live chat with their Chardgel fans
Locsin praised Richard and Sarah Labahti for having a simple wedding ceremony which she sees as very much sincere.
Richard said that after the pandemic they will still have their actual wedding.
“To follow na lang ang actual wedding,” he said.
Richard also shared that because of the lockdown, he and his wife Sarah spent more time with the family especially with their two sons, Zion and Kai. They cook together and Richard became their official taster.
“I think that’s one good activity na puwedeng ma-unlock sa mga tao na mahilig magluto o mahilig sa pagkain. Lalo pang gumaling magluto di ba?
“Ako lang ang official taster,” he said.
Then he asked Locsin about the date of her own wedding since she is officially engaged to her producer fiancé, Niel Arce since June 2019.
Locsin could not give the details but reassured Richard that they will still have their wedding.
“Alam mo naman Chard na hindi ko pa puwedeng sabihin ‘di ba?” she said.
She also said that because of the lockdown, they cannot proceed with their wedding preparations.
“Ayaw naming sabihin na postponed. Kasi iyun ang pinaka-importanteng araw sa amin eh. Nagpahinga nga kami sa trabaho namin para matutukan namin ang wedding.
“Kaya lang of course, lockdown pa. Hindi naman namin puwedeng i-risk di ba? Hindi pa naman namin alam kung ano ang mangyari,” she added.
Locsin was also asked if she is planning to join politics but she immediately said that she doesn’t have any intention.
“Naku, sobrang wala talaga sa isip ko ang pumasok sa politics,” she said. “Kami naman pong mga artista, public servants din naman po kami bilang ang buhay namin, nasa public talaga kasi gusto naming magbigay ng entertainment sa mga tao. Lahat naman tayo, dapat tumulong sa ganitong panahon sa abot ng ating maakakaya.”
Richard and Angel still open to the idea of doing a movie together as long the project and script is good.
“Basta maganda ang project at okay ang script na ibibigay sa amin,” they said.
Angel and Niel have been busy helping frontliners by setting up sleeping tents. They also asked some of their friends to donate some sleeping beds to frontliners who are having problems with transportation due to the ECQ.
