Kapamilya actress Angel Locsin, who has been receiving praises from the netizens for helping frontliners in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, hit back at a basher who told threatened to shut down her social media accounts.
On May 8, Locsin said on her Twitter account that people don’t have the power to harass them using fake accounts just to keep silent about the shutting down of their home network ABS-CBN.
One netizen threatened Angel that they would take down her account.
“Excuse me po? Really? Idol pa naman kits pero ang b*b* mo miss Angel. Review your post. B*b* nyo ni Kim and Coco. Honestly. Pinagyayabang mo kasi that we can’t shut down ur account. Pati accounts nyo shutdown rin a few days. You will regret it.”
Locsin asked the basher if she was threatening her because the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) would be interested in the matter.
“Is this a threat?Kasi lagot ka pagpinakita ko ang account mo sa NBI 
Nakagather na ako ng enough evidence na ikaw ang main suspect pag may nangyari sa account ko,” Locsin replied.

The actress also posted an eight-minute video on her Instagram account expressing her personal opinion on the ABS-CBN shutdown.
In her video, she clarified that she is not against the government and wishes the best for the President, but she believed ABS-CBN should be given an extension of their franchise.

“Liliinawin ko lang po ulet, ang nilalaban ko po to dito ay ang mabigyan po ng ekstensyon ang prangkisa ng ABS-CBN, Kagaya ho ng pagbigay niyo ng ekstensyon sa ibang kompanya na nag expire po ang kanilang prangkisa, pero na extend po para po dinggin ng kongreso ang kanilang mga kaso, yun lamang po.
“Mga mam at sir, we are not asking for a VIP Treatment. hindi po yun, We are asking for a fair chance.” she stated.
