On February 14, it was reported that Winwyn and Mark broke up during the press conference of her movie Time & Again.
According to her, their breakup was a mutual decision. They are both okay and there was no third party.
“Yeah, I’m single right now. Naghiwalay kami nang maayos. It was a mutual decision.
“Siguro now, we’re doing our own things. I’m doing my own work, he’s doing his own work, so yeah.
“Siguro naisip n’yo, ‘Bakit?’ Okay kami. We’re both okay. Naghiwalay kami nang maayos and it was a mutual decision.
“Walang away, walang third party. My God, parang awa n’yo na, hindi yun ang talagang reason.”
In an exclusive interview of GMANetwork.com, she admitted that BTS has a very strong influence on her to move-on. It diverted her attention and helped her in tough times.
“To be honest, walang echos, it helped me.
“It diverted my attention to that. Hindi ko masyadong naisip yung breakup so it really helped me through a tough time.
“And nagulat din ako na totoo pala siya. Kasi, nababasa ko na ito ‘yung effect nila to other people. So for me, na-experience ko din siya.
“It’s like I don’t want them to be my boyfriend but I want them to be my best friend.”
