The Office of the Vice President was grateful for the surprise visit of Kapamilya celebrity Enchong Dee together with his PPE donations for the COVID-19 front liners and volunteers.
In a tweet Tuesday, April 21, VP Leni was happily surprised to see Enchong in her office to deliver the donations of PPEs for the front liners and food for all the OVP volunteers.
“Biglang nag appear sa office ngayong hapon, mag isa. May dalang mga PPEs para sa frontliners at pagkain para sa volunteers. Mabuhay ka, Enchong Dee”

Meanwhile, in an Instagram post, Enchong said the donations came from his and Ria Atayde’s friends and fans for their fundraising project.
“From the friends and fans of @ria and I. A little something for the protection of our Frontliners. We decided to forward our fund raising efforts to the OVP since they have access to more hospitals. Sa lahat ng tumulong Maraming Salamat”

The Office of the Vice President meanwhile, has already done numerous efforts to help address the COVID-19 crisis.
Lacking a budget, the OVP tapped private partnerships to make their projects successful.
The OVP was successful in ferrying medical frontliners through their shuttle project which has already been turned over to the DOTr.
The OVP has also set-up several dorms for the frontliners so they won’t need to go home which is hazardous to their families and communities because they are exposed to the coronavirus.
Just recently, the OVP set aside 14Php million from its 2020 budget and bought test kits developed by scientists from the University of the Philippines-National Institute of Health.
