Tuesday Vargas was shocked by the number of bashers who were opposed to her statements related to President Rodrigo Dutert ordering cops to shoot the troublemakers amidst the enhance community quarantine last April 3, 2020.
Netizens started to bash Tuesday when she expressed her dismay towards the President’s threat to fellow Filipinos and retweeted: “Bigas, hindi bala. Batas, hindi dahas. Tulong, hindi kulong. Mass test, hindi mass arrest.”

Here are what some of the bashers are saying:

Tuesday strongly suggested bashers that they are free to disagree with her statements but it doesn’t necessarily mean that these netizens have the right to shut her down as she’s a taxpayer.
The comedienne clarified that people like her only wanted a proactive approach from the government to fight the pandemic COVID-19 disease. Threateningcitizens that they will be shot by the cops will only make the situation worse than it is.
If you do not agree with my posts its ok po. I will respect your opinion on this administration. But please do not persecute me if I exercise my constitutionally protected rights as a tax paying citizen.
— Tuesday Vargas (@tuesday_v) April 2, 2020
Condoning chaos and disobedience is different from demanding effective leadership. Please do not interpret posts as such. We are not encouraging people to revolt. We are asking a more proactive approach from our leaders.

Tuesday hopes if only they are clear guidelines given by the administration, people will not panic, as it did with some Quezon City constituents who staged a rally.
If there were clear guidelines given to citizens on the administration’s course of action, the public will not panic and result to chaos. The events we see reflect their dismay and desperation. Help is what they need not threats.

Last I heared we live in a democracy. Violence does not solve violence.
— Tuesday Vargas (@tuesday_v) April 2, 2020
Tuesday also tried to explain her point to the bashers who used the usual list of accusations/questions that they throw at every government critic.
Ayan nanaman kayo sa AMBAG muna bago puna. Pilipino ako kagaya nyo. Hindi kayo ang kalaban dito. May pandemic na kailangan aksyunan. Hindi tayo dapat nag tatalo. Simple lang yan. Huwag lumayo sa issue.
— Tuesday Vargas (@tuesday_v) April 3, 2020
My head is in the right place. No amount of personal attacks can derail me from my resolve that I want my government to take action. Again I maintain my stand.
— Tuesday Vargas (@tuesday_v) April 3, 2020
Hindi tayo galit. Nagtatanong tayo. Magkaiba yan mga kababayan. Huwag nyo pong i twist ang words namin. Sinusuri natin ang course of action. Nanghihingi ng kaliwanagan. Hindi namin inaatake ang kahit sino.
— Tuesday Vargas (@tuesday_v) April 3, 2020

To ensure that bashers thoroughly understand where is she coming from, Tuesday reiterated some of the good consequences of ranting such as:
- Department of Health (DOH) apologized for paying volunteers and medical professionals a low salary of Php500.00 a day
- Transportation issue was resolved
- Mass testing will commence on April 14, 2020.
