The Megastar even pointed out that Manadil, who is a foreigner, has been extending help for the Filipinos, thus, Filipinos who can help should step up their efforts to support those in need during the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Mapapahiya ka kung Pilipino ka at wala ka man lang natutulungan kahit isang tao. Siya pang foreigner ang tulong ng tulong. We have been in touch for about a month now. He has an Instagram account too but please watch his YouTube vlogs. Good job, son! God will bless you more and more. You have a beautiful heart. Thank you for loving all of us Filipinos! Lots of love, Inay.”
This wasn’t the first donation that Manadil extended to the Filipinos, he was applauded for cooking over 1,000 packed meals for Taal evacuees and bought a hundred boxes of N-95 masks.
He even went viral when he bought sacks of rice from a local farmer to donate to the Mindanao quake victims.
On the other hand, Sharon contributed a large amount of money to Angel Locsin’s relief efforts to set up tents outside overcrowded hospitals to support the medical frontliners and COVID-19 patients as the country is facing the COVID-19 pandemic.
Actress Angel Locsin couldn’t help but express her gratitude to the Megastar especially when some netizen accused Sharon of not doing anything to help in this crisis,
“Ms. Sharon Cuneta donated a whopping 3 million pesos para makatulong kahit paano sa overcrowded hospital situation ngayon. Binigay niya ito ng kusa at ayaw ipaalam.”
