April 27th, 2020 – Singapore – Kofi, one of Red Bull Records’ newest signees, has released “Nuff Talk,” the second single from his anticipated forthcoming EP, ‘The Story of My Life’. A smooth and seductive track showcasing Kofi’s talents as a rapper, producer, singer and songwriter, “Nuff Talk” provides a look into Kofi’s unique sound.
A Toronto native with Ghanaian roots, Kofi formed his captivating signature sound – a fusion of rapped and sung vocals against a blend of trap, afropop, and Toronto-inspired alternative R&B beats – by experimenting with music early on. “Nuff Talk” follows the drop of Kofi’s acclaimed first single off the EP, “F.A.Y.”
Due out later this year, ‘The Story of My Life’ was co-produced, written, mixed and mastered by Kofi himself. The EP marks the beginning of Kofi’s journey with Red Bull Records, joining the label’s growing roster of fresh and exciting talent this past March.
On his new Red Bull Records deal and his upcoming EP, Kofi shared, “After releasing music on my own the past few years, I’m excited to have the support of Red Bull Records and work with the team to release some incredible music. I’m really looking forward to the fans hearing my upcoming EP because it’s such a personal project that lets people into my world.”
On 2nd May, Kofi joins the very first Red Bull Records Virtual Festival, a collection of performances from the label’s freshest artists, available to stream on Red Bull Records’ YouTube and Twitch channels at 2AM Singapore Time.

Magazine for his “vision, original sound, [and] talent that is unmatched”, Daenan ‘Kofi’ Gyimah has established his reputation over the past few years as a rapper, singer and producer to watch. In addition to his recent deal with Red Bull Records, the 22-year-old Toronto native has attracted attention from well-known figures, including Drake and OVO Sound, Major Lazer’s Walshy Fire, and Toronto rap veterans Kardinal Offishall and Preme. Over the past few years, Kofi has released fan favourite tracks, such as “Came Up,” “Wake Up” and “Hold Me Down” via his own Jvngle Music Group imprint, which have racked up millions of views. Kofi’s talents reach far beyond music, previously serving as a First Team All-American player on the men’s volleyball team at his university.
