Luzon is still under the enhanced community lockdown until April 30, 2020, and President Rodrigo Duterte earlier said that he will lift the quarantine if the antibody for the pandemic disease is available.
Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque stated that the Palace expects China will prioritize the Philippines as soon as the COVID-19 cure is successfully developed.

As of the moment, Philippine General Hospital is requesting for COVID-19 patients who were able to recover to make blood donations to find a cure to the virus. The effort of PGH to request for blood donors is still not considered as the cure. Roque clarified that Palace will support any initiatives to develop the cure.
During the virtual Special Asean Plus Three Summit last Tuesday, President Rodrigo Duterte confirmed that the Philippines will cooperate in studying the possible cure for coronavirus. Moreover, Duterte seeks help to strengthen and increase the facilities as well as the production to end the coronavirus.
Duterte said: “We call for the increased production and the facilitation of trade of vital medical equipment and supplies in our region. We support the creation of regional reserves of medical supplies to better equip us in this fight.”
