Vice Ganda is making the rounds on social media—particularly Twitter—after his latest Tiktok video went viral.
One netizen who shared the video pointed out how Vice failed to grasp the reality of the quarantine extension.
“Somebody tell Vice Ganda na nag extend ang quarantine dahil huli ang mass testing at walang concrete plans ang gobyerno to flatten the curve. Hindi kasalanan ng tao”

In the video, Vice changed the lyrics of the song “Kahit Ayaw Mo Na” by This Band with something related to the enhanced community quarantine.
“Oh bakit ba humaba ang quarantine, eh kasi nga mga pinoy makukulit din. Pag sinabing wag lumabas, maglalabasan at pag nagkasakit naman magsisisihan. Daling sabihing penge ng ayuda pero sumusunod nga po ba?”
However, his latest Tiktok antics didn’t sit well with netizens who blasted him for being out of touch with reality of common people.
Many of the netizens said with Vice blaming the people, he failed to recognize the government’s bungling response to the crisis.
But you failed to acknowledge the mistakes, missteps, gaslighting this government did in the past weeks/months. A TRUE LEADER TAKES RESPONSIBILITY FOR ITS ACTIONS AND INACTIONS. 😊 pic.twitter.com/RsgmtIbG1r

She spent that time to write those lyrics thinking she made something 😆

I hope you have the same energy towards acknowledging the unpreparedness of this government instead of pinning all down to the people, @vicegandako. Pakaisip mo na lang meme yung energy mo.

But aside from critics, there were also other netizens who believed there’s a half-truth to what Vice said, saying it’s both the government and the people’s fault.
I believe it's both. Inefficient Ang gobyerno and hindi pinaghandaan ang epidemic seriously. I'm not a fan of him but I think that song is for those people na pasaway like un mga news na nahuli because they don't follow the ECQ guidelines.

Parehong may kasalanan:
Government: delayed and inadequate solutions
People: uncooperativeTapos ang usapan

IT TAKES TWO TO TANGO, parehong may pagkukulang. Hindi lahat ng solusyon manggagaling sa gobyerno. Meron sana tayong pwedeng maitulong kung hindi lng tayo pasaway at matigas ang ulo.

Vice Ganda has her point here but over sensationalized and misinterpreted by majority. Is this a reason to hate her? If it is, let's just pray instead of shaming her. Well, in dire times like this, we should not provide a space for hatred but rather humanism. Love love love https://t.co/LByQC7Nqgd
