According to the veteran broadcast journalist, he received information from the frontliners of a hospital he did not name.
According to the frontliners, the dead were spread out in the hallway at their hospital because they ran out of cadaver bags.
Meanwhile, the Department of Health (DOH) has strongly refuted the information shared by Clavio. It denied that it issued an order for hospitals to stop reporting the number of COVID-19 related deaths.
Clavio thanked the Department of Health for responding immediately.
On his Instagram, Clavio posted a photo Department of Health’s answer to the allegations and thanked them for the immediate response,
He also clarified that he doesn’t have a Twitter account and clarified his statement to avoid misunderstanding
Finally, the news anchor made it clear that his career is not on the line, but the lives of the frontliners, thus real facts should be exposed.

Arnold Clavio is a clever journalist, he wants the DOH to deny it and let Mayor Joy Belmonte call it Fake News then he will show the photos and videos of dead bodies in the hospital as a proof. Wanna bet? I know how he thinks…
