Since the declaration of the Luzon-wide lockdown, the public has been directed to stay at home to help contain the coronavirus outbreak.
Only one person per household is allowed to go out to purchase basic needs during the lockdown.
Just like average citizens, celebrities need to buy food and other necessities as the coronavirus pandemic sweeps the entire nation.
Earlier this week, photos of Nadine Lustre circulated online where she was seen hitting the grocery store for some errands.
Lustre was spotted lining up at a local supermarket wearing a mask while exercising social distancing, or the act of keeping a distance from people to prevent the spread of the said disease. One of the photos was shared by her avid fans online.
In the first week of the enhanced community quarantine, Lustre urged all Filipinos to lift each other as the country and the world face the COVID-19 pandemic.

Lustre also called that the situation our country is facing at the moment a test of every Filipinos’ resiliency. “It’s an affirmation that amid every imaginable trial, matibay po talaga tayong mga Pilipino. We have gone through so much as one country and we will rise again because we help one another, we care about each other and we share our resources to our kababayans,” she said.

Nadine had recently split up with James Reid. “But not for all the reasons that are being spread on the tabloids and social media, but because after quiet and mature conversations, we decided to focus on ourselves, not only for our careers but more for our personal growth as we are still young and we want to achieve as much as we can,” they added.
“We agreed that going separate ways was best for both of us. We are in good terms and are still really good friends and will continue to work with each other especially when it comes to music,” James and Nadine said.
Nadine is on the growing list of celebrities dismayed by the government’s efforts against the coronavirus pandemic in the country.
She took to social media her dismay saying, “COVID exposed the government for what it is. The people need help, compassion, and transparency, not threats and lies.”
