Kyle Echarri gamely answered sizzling questions as he joined Robi Domingo in the third episode of the latter’s YouTube segment called “KalokoVan” where he played “Katotohanan or KalokoVan”, which is a tweaked version of truth or dare.
According to Domingo, the video was shot a few weeks ago before the enhanced community quarantine.
“This kid nakilala in Cebu when I delivered the red envelope for ‘The Voice Kids‘ season 2 and now he’s this golden teen na sobrang galing when it comes to acting. Itong charm niya, I think bagay na bagay sila ni Francine (Diaz). Naks,” the 30-year-old VJ and host stated.
Echarri was asked several questions about friendship, love interests, and relationships, particularly about his ideal girl, the silliest thing he has done for love, and his greatest fear when it comes to a relationship, which the 16-year-old star unhesitantly answered.
While he was able to answer all the previous questions, Echarri was not able to answer right away when Domingo asked him to name one person he doesn’t like to work with.
Instead of dropping a name, the former The Voice Kids contestant agreed to do a “kalokoVan” or a consequence wherein he would confess his feelings for his on-screen partner Francine Diaz in a prank call.
During their conversation, Echarri told Diaz that he’s been thinking about a particular scene which they did during their Kadenang Ginto days and how it makes him miss her a lot. He then proceeded to tell Diaz that he thinks he’s falling in love with her.
“Naalala mo ‘yung the scene that we had na tayo lang dalawa? Feeling ko parang, na-miss ko eh. Na-miss ko… ikaw sino pa ba? Nami-miss ko ‘yung ganyan tayo. Nahuhulog na ako sa ‘yo,” he said.
However, Diaz did not fall for Echarri’s confession as she later revealed that her friend told her about Domingo’s vlog, aside from the fact that he does not really call her.
Echarri and Diaz tandem “KyCine” was born on the defunct Kapamilya gold series, Kadenang Ginto. Since then, they became part of The Gold Squad along Seth Fedelin and Andrea Brillantes’ loveteam, SethDrea.
The two young artists are currently enjoying each other’s company as “more than friends” and “best friends.”
Echarri and Diaz top-bill in the iWant original movie, Silly Red Shoes which can be streamed on the iWant app.
