The netizens couldn’t agree more as the paranoia about the COVID-19 disease is getting out of control considering the heightened number of positive cases and the disturbing rise of death count in the country.

It's just sad that even if we are all protected from COVID 19 we cannot escape the anxiety it brings. We are drove to create new habits such as sanitizing door knobs, remote control, etc.

Okay, so today my husband has to go back to work – it is essential. However, there have been known cases where he works, not necessarily in his work area. They are spread across several work sites. I'm still paranoid as fvck and woke up at 130am with a panic attack. #COVID19

COVID-19, also known as novel coronavirus disease 2019 is affecting the world now, sweeping across continents and affecting millions of millions. While there’s still no formula that could really kill the virus, the number of people contracting it continues to rise disturbingly.
Since the enemy is a virus that cannot be seen, it’s hard to move these days considering it is everywhere and can be easily transmitted.
The paranoia it brings is truly a dilemma not just to the Government, but to the people as well. While the enhanced community quarantine implemented in different cities and regions aims to contain and prevent the spread of the deadly disease, the situation creates panic among people resulting in hoarding and panic-buying of goods and sanitation supplies.
Fake news about the COVID-19 like having a positive patient in your area is not helping the situation either. With different hoaxes circulating online, people are confused about what to believe and what to do.
As a result, some areas are already out-of-stock of alcohol, masks, and other personal protective equipment (PPE).
