Queen of All Media Kris Aquino lambasted a basher after making a self-righteous comment on her Instagram post.
Kris is currently stranded in Puerto Galera with her sons Josh and Bimby following the enhanced community quarantine.
In her Instagram post, she revealed that she suffered from a severe allergic reaction to food and couldn’t access her usual medicines. With the help and kindness of some netizens, she was able to recover and expressed her gratitude to them.
Despite being far from home, she finds comfort that she has met good people who have been taking care of her family as well as attending to her medical needs.

But then, a netizen commented on her post saying, “I thought you’re practicing ‘stay home’ campaign ng mga frontliners natin. People look up to you kaya sana gamitin young power/gift we have to encourage people to stay at home during this pandemic. Thanks.”
Aquino reacted to what she called was a self-righteous comment.
“Had we been given a choice, we would be so happy to be home in the same village as my sister… this judgment is freaking unfair because you don’t know what I have had to undergo as their sole parental authority.” she wrote.
Had she tried to make her way back home to Manila, it would mean breaking quarantine protocols and Kris believed they would be labeled power-trippers had they attempted to return.
“when times are good I feel so blessed, but when they are tough- I truly FEEL the void in the lives of my sons. Kung ginawa namin ng paraan an makauwi kami pero hindi sumunod as tamang proseso- lahat ng ng bashing about power tripping inabot namin…”
Aquino also emphasized that she had done more than just “encourage” people to stay at home. She also had helped people to provide food and protective equipment for the fronliners, saying sorry for not posting receipts and e-bank transfers just to show netizens that she has been donating as well.
